See 9 Homes Featured in the 2017 San Angelo Parade of Homes

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The 2017 Parade of Homes produced by the San Angelo Home Builders Association featured by ERA Newlin and Company Real Estate begins Saturday, April 1, and continues through the following weekend.

San Angelo builders feature nine custom homes.

To tour the homes, a donation of $10 per person (kids 12 and under are free) is requested. The admission price includes the 2017 Parade of Homes Magazine. All proceeds go to the Habitat for the Humanity, a program that builds new homes for those who otherwise cannot afford home ownership.

Here are the builders and their showcases for this year’s Parade of Homes:

2118 Valleyview Dr.

2118 Valley View Dr. 

2118 Valley View Dr. — This is a 3 bedroom, 3-bathroom home with 2,166 sq. ft. built by Michael and his son Colby Biggerstaff of Biggerstaff Homes, LLC. With Colby, who is a 2001 Texas Tech graduate working with his dad, Biggerstaff Homes is a fourth generation builder.

This home features designer tiling throughout, many built-in cabinets, designer lighting, Wellborn Cabinetry, custom lockers, shiplap ceiling in the entryway, and rock/shiplap surrounding the fireplace.

4710 N Bentwood Dr.

4710 N. Bentwood Dr. 

4710 N. Bentwood Dr. — This is a 4 bedroom, 3-bathroom home with 2,710 sq. ft. Adrian Balderas at AB Builders, LLC, built it. Balderas’ design and construction is what he describes as a “hands on” approach. You can read more about Adrian Balderas here.

This featured home has an upgraded highly efficient air conditioning/heating system with variable fan speed and humidity control, a custom iron front door, an oversized patio with fireplace, exotic granite countertops, and a three-car garage.

4741 Shadow Creek Dr. — This is a 4 bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home with 3,410 sq. ft. built by Sierra Vista Construction, Inc. Danny Aguero founded his family-owned company 15 years ago and has built 300 homes throughout those years. Before founding his own company, Aguero was a framing subcontractor where he learned the art of building from the slab up.

This home features a rock fireplace, an outdoors fireplace on the patio, built-in breakfast nook seating area, metal roof accents along the front elevation, and vaulted ceilings.

4750 Shadow Creek Dr. — This is a 3 or 4 bedroom, 3-bathroom home with 2,514 sq. ft. built by Eric von Rosenberg of von Rosenberg Custom Homes, LLC. Also a Tech grad, von Rosenberg learned his trade working for a large homebuilder in the Dallas Metroplex and then in Austin before returning to San Angelo to raise his family. This home features custom cabinets throughout, ceramic wood flooring, custom tile designs in the bathrooms, and a flexible open living layout.

4757 Shadow Creek Dr. — David Currie of Cornerstone Builders features this 4 bedroom, 3-bathroom home with 2,669 sq. ft. Currie, a native of Paint Rock, has been building homes and developing subdivisions in the region since 1995. You can read more about Currie here.

This home features Quartz countertops with a farmhouse sink, LED designer lighting, outdoor patio gas grill, a double-sided fireplace in the master bedroom, barrel vaulted ceilings, designer tile, and a luxury freestanding master bathtub.

5442 Enclave Ct.

5442 Enclave Ct.

5442 Enclave Ct. — This is a 4 bedroom, 3.5-bath new custom home by Eric von Rosenberg. This is his second entry into the Parade this year.

This home features a media/bunk room, a walk-in butler pantry, spa-like master bath, oversized master closet, automated shades, and Composite Trax decking on the front porch.

6202 Katie Ln. — This is a 4 bedroom, 3-bath home with 2,916 sq. ft. by AB Builders. This is Adrian Balderas’ second entry in this year’s Parade.

This home features whole house foam insulation, a gray water system to conserve city tap water, oversized 8-foot high doorways, custom iron doors, etched concrete floors with stained patios, and a media room.

6313 Katie Ln.

6313 Katie Ln. — This is a 4 bedroom, 3-bathroom home with 2,597 sq. ft. built by Biggerstaff Homes, LLC. This is their second entry for this year’s Parade.

This home features designer tile throughout, timbers in the ceiling and outside, a mother-in-law suite in a separate building, shiplap walls, Water ReNu Greywater System, and many custom built-ins.

6125 Lois Ln.

6125 Lois Ln.

6125 Lois Ln. — This 4 bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home with 3,166 sq. ft. features a view of the lake. Wood beams are featured throughout. Additionally, this home has an outdoor kitchen upgraded appliances and lighting, and a bonus room on the second level.

Bryan Benson of Clearview Custom Homes built this home. Also a Tech graduate, Benson is partnered with Lubbock custom homebuilder Clearview started the company’s expansion into the Concho Valley under Benson’s direction in 2015.

The hours for the 2017 Parade of Homes in San Angelo:

  • Saturday, April 1 & 8 — 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 2 & 9 — 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday, April 7 — 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
