SAN ANGELO, TX — Employees of Time Clock Plus celebrated Veterans Day on Friday by raising a giant American flag in front of their headquarters at 2905 Southwest Blvd.
Jordy Moorman, President of TimeClock Plus and Data Management, Inc., said the flag project was meant to be a surprise for area veterans.

The custom flag is 1,500 per square foot in size and will be flown 24/7. It is made out of all-weather material, Moorman said.

Correction: Originally we reported the flag was $1500 per square feet. The figure was a result of Hyde misunderstanding the answer to "how much did it cost?" At $1500/sf, the flag would have a $2.25 million price tag. What we meant to convey was that the size of the flag is 1500 sf. The story is corrected.

PermalinkJoe,
It seems something was lost in communication during the interview... The flag didn't cost $1500/ft. It's 30' x 50', or 1500 sqft! While we love the flag, it's not quite $1500 per square foot love. Thanks to all the vets out there, both active and retired.
