Mike Carter, President of Legacy Coldwell Banker, and his wife Cindy run the Albuquerque company that owns Coldwell Banker real estate brokerage offices in Midland, El Paso, and La Cruces, New Mexico. In all, there are 12 Legacy Offices throughout New Mexico and West Texas (7 are in Albuquerque). His partner is Joe Gilmore of Albuquerque.
The Carters were in town today to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the renaming of the local real estate office, the former Patterson Properties.
“We are very proud of our San Angelo office because it is one of the top performing Coldwell Banker offices in the entire western region of the United States,” said Carter.
The San Angelo office was purchased about 2.5 years ago, and was operated under the former owner’s name until today. Now it will be known as Coldwell Banker Legacy.
Bev McCleery will continue to be the general manager of the San Angelo office, Carter said. McCleery said San Angelo’s Coldwell Banker Legacy has 35 agents.
As the ribbon cutting was ongoing, workers were putting up a new sign for their location at 3017 Knickerbocker Rd.
