ASU’s Small Business Development Center invites community business and organization leaders in San Angelo to the 17th annual Leadercast event.
Those in attendance can access the knowledge and experience of world-renowned leaders on Friday, May 6, at the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center, on 1620 University Ave.
The event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as it broadcast live from Atlanta, Georgia, to hundreds of sites across the world, including ASU. The theme, “Architects of Tomorrow,” explores what it means to be a visionary leader, one who can cast a compelling vision and mobilize those around you to help fulfill that vision. The speaker lineup includes:
- Andy Stanley ̶ Leadership author and founder of North Point Ministries in Georgia
- Dr. Henry Cloud ̶ Leadership expert, clinical psychologist and best-selling author of “Boundaries”
- Nick Saban ̶ Head football coach at the University of Alabama
- Steve Wozniak ̶ Co-founder of Apple Inc. and philanthropist
- Kat Cole ̶ President of FOCUS Brands, including Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon and more
- James Brown ̶ Network broadcaster for CBS Sports and CBS News
- Chris Barez-Brown ̶ Creativity guru and author of the best-seller “How to Have Kick-Ass Ideas”
- Commander Rorke Denver ̶ Navy SEAL commander and author
- Tripp Crosby – Comedian, film director and host of Leadercast
More than 100,000 people around the world are expected to attend this year’s Leadercast. Attendees at the ASU event, sponsored by TimeClock Plus, KIDY Fox, Sam’s Club and Chick-fil-A, will also receive a Leadercast journal filled with additional details, places to take notes and practical application tools to use after the conference. They can also participate directly in the conference through Facebook and Twitter.
Registration, which is required, is now open for Leadercast San Angelo at $99 per person for the general public.
