Texas Workforce Commission Officials to Present at Governor's Small Business Forum

 

Representatives from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and Workforce Solutions Concho Valley (Concho Valley) will provide valuable information to small business owners at the upcoming Governor’s Small Business Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the McNease Convention Center located at 501 Rio Concho Drive in San Angelo. This session will provide information designed to educate Texas entrepreneur and small business community on workforce development, marketing businesses, hiring and managing employees, and training and growth opportunities.

Texas Secretary of State Carlos Cascos will be the keynote speaker at the event with a moderated conversation at 4:45 p.m. in the ballroom and will discuss future opportunities for Texas small business owners.

This is the sixth series of Governor’s Small Business Forums, which have been held in various locations throughout the state and are designed to support the more than 460,000 Texas employers who employ 100 or fewer workers.
