Shannon Receives Highest Accreditation Level for Orthotics

 

Shannon Clinic Orthotics received a three-year reaccreditation from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics, Inc. This accreditation is the highest level available in the field of orthotics and prosthetics.

The department is recognized for achievements in the areas of organizational management, patient care standards, quality assurance, supplier compliance and facility and safety management. This award represents the highest level of accreditation achievable in the professions of orthotics and prosthetics.

 Shannon Clinic Orthotics has provided San Angelo and the surrounding area orthotic services for the past four years, specializing in spinal bracing, lower extremity orthotics and cranial remolding helmets. The staff provides exceptional care to patients of all ages. Shannon Clinic Orthotics recently added a certified Pedorthist to the staff, to handle foot orthoses and diabetic shoe prescriptions.
