San Angelo LIVE! Produces First TV Commercial

 

San Angelo LIVE! released its first television commercial today. The 30-second spot will be broadcasted within the San Angelo DMA on Suddenlink Media in heavy rotation on cable television.

The spot was filmed and produced by Stone-Settle Advertising by Kevin Settle. Stone-Settle and Hyde Interactive, the web development shop that created San Angelo LIVE!, have a collaborative history with various web projects in the past, including SonoraBank.com.

San Angelo LIVE! has realized explosive growth in audience size since launching as a local Internet online news website and daily email on Sept. 4 of last year. The commercial is aimed at capitalizing upon that growth and capture more readers who may not realize that San Angelo LIVE! is a better alternative to consume local news than the corporate-owned and out-of-town-managed traditional media outlets.

"We want to make our non-traditional media traditional," says Joe Hyde, publisher of San Angelo LIVE!

San Angelo LIVE! is published six days per week and has a reputation for reporting more news and getting the news first.

The LIVE! Daily is the "newspaper to your email" for San Angelo. Each content-packed edition has weather, the popular Top of the Email opinion and rumor mill column, news around the state of Texas, news around west Texas, the latest news stories from San Angelo LIVE!, events, and the most recent obituaries. The bottom of the email contains the most recent rants and comments. The LIVE! daily is emailed 5 days per week. On Sundays, subscribers receive the West Texas Real Estate LIVE! email.

Congrats on the new commercial and getting your brand out there. It's GREAT to see a competing agency to the Sub-Standard Times! You indicate you have a reputation for reporting more news? I'm not sure what you are comparing this to, but I would argue the Sub-standard times has much more to offer - albeit shoddy reporting sometimes. I know S.A.L. is still young, and limited so I hope for the best. Good luck!
