Charcoal House Mysteriously Closed

A San Angelo staple has closed unexpectedly and for reasons unknown in the past few days.

Charcoal House, located at 1205 N Chadbourne St, was open last week for business, however a sign on the door states, "Due to unforseen circumstances, Charcoal House sadly has to close. We appreciate you loyal business for so many years. It has truly been a pleasure serving you all."

A second note reads, "All employees please pick up paychecks Wednesday September 18th between 4pm and 5pm."

No other information is available at this time as to why the restaurant has closed.
