Estela G. Salas, 76, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September, 6, 2026 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Craig Meyers, retired Presbyterian minister, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Salas was born on November 28, 1949 in San Angelo and graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1969. Estela married Robert "Bob" Salas on December 6,1975, living in numerous cities and countries over the next 30 years; Hawaii, California, Maryland, Miami, San Antonio, Mississippi, Saudi Arabia, and San Angelo. She was a homemaker, an administrator and part owner/operator of Bouquets Unique Florist.
Estela loved to cross-stitch, all things associated with Christmas, cooking and feeding people, searching for good deals at second-hand stores, and spoiling her husband, Bob. She was loving, kind, giving, altruistic, happy, funny, and a fierce lover of her family.
Estela is preceded in death by her mother Barbarita Pineda Hernandez, four siblings, Santiago "Jimmy" Gonzales, Mario Gonzales, Hope Munos, and Agnes Dianda.
She is survived by her husband Bob; three children, Joe Garcia and wife Michele, Becky Salas and partner David Castro all of San Angelo, and Rob Salas and wife Desi of Ft. Worth; three sisters, Virginia Franco, Barbara Castellano and husband Mike, and Mary Rodriguez and husband Pedro all of San Angelo; 11 grandchildren, Alex Garcia and wife Kacy, Xavier Garcia and partner Kinsey, Tyler Garcia and wife Ricque, Luis Peña, Angelica Peña, Bobby Peña and wife Samantha, D. J. Castro, Cariña Robinson, Marcella Reynosa, Isabella Reynosa, and Elizabeth Salas; and four great grandchildren; Michael Peña, Stetson Peña, Mia Salas, Troy Robinson, Reagan Dorty, and River Dorty.
