Kathy Dittman, 64, of Big Lake passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Hope in Christ Church with Pastor Leslie Davidson and Pastor David Alaman, officiating. There will not be any public viewing. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dittman was born on October 21, 1961 in Artesia, New Mexico to Jack and Nora Griffin Baker. Kathy moved to Big Lake in 1975. Kathy married Santana Subia, Jr., on August 2, 1980 and he passed away on May 17, 1984. She married Charles Dittman on June 8, 1996 in Big Lake. He passed away on September 14, 2024. She was an Administrative Assistant at Plains Marketing LP. She enjoyed reading, needlework, crafting, shopping and spending time with family. Kathy believed worrying about tomorrow, takes away today's peace. Live each day because you never know when it's your last. Her greatest blessing were her children and the wonderful adults they grew up to be.
Kathy was preceded in death by her Parents; and a brother, James Johnson.
Survivors include her three children, Steven Dittman and his wife Sondra, Robie Subia and his wife Alisha, and Erica Subia; her four siblings, Gloria Oyler and her husband Roger, Sherry Dunlap, Gayla Davis and her husband Bob, and Sam Higgins; six grandchildren, Jenathy Romero, Paul Romero, Emrie Romero, Santana Romero, Alexander Romero, and Lillian Subia; and great granddaughter, Jayanna Romero.
Pallbearers are Robie Subia, Steven Dittman, Paul Romero, Jonathan Dunlap, DJ Guerrero, and Darren Oyler.
