Christine “Chris” Ann Kitchens went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2026. She was born on December 11, 1939 in Watford, England to William and Elsie Revely. She spent her childhood in England with her 4 sisters.
Chris met the love of her life, Charles “Charlie” Kitchens, when he was stationed with the U.S. Airforce in England. They married in 1961. After being stationed around the world, they settled in San Angelo, Texas, where they raised their two children, Russell and Linda.
Chris joined the Daughters of the British Empire shortly after arriving in San Angelo, where she made lifelong friendships with other British wives. In her free time, when she wasn’t taking care of her home and family, Chris expressed her artistic talents in oil paintings. She also stayed very close with all of her sisters despite the distance between them.
She is survived by her son, Russell Kitchens, her daughter Linda Barnett and husband David, her 4 grandchildren, Newt Kitchens and wife Kasie, Clayton Kitchens and fiance Liliya, Josh Barnett and fiance Cassidy, Michelle Gatton and husband Noah, her great grandchild Emma Kitchens, her sister Jill Cerasale and husband Vince and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her three sisters Eilene Sabbage, Margaret Putnam, Sheila Whiting, and two nephews Gavin Cerasale and Steven Putnam.
Her family would like to give special thanks to the entire staff at Brayden Park Assisted Living and Concho Hearts Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at Harper Funeral Home on Friday, May 22nd at 10 o’clock in the morning.
