She was rarely still, taking pride in keeping a beautiful home and cooking for her family. Her loved ones will fondly remember lining up for her famous, scratch-made Thanksgiving dressing and her delicious beans.
Even in her final days, facing cancer with immense bravery, Margarita kept her spirits high and her fiery independence, rarely liking to be waited on even when she was weak. Her legacy of love, faith, and tenacity will live on in her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernesto; her son, Adam; and her parents. She was also the last living of her siblings. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
