Brenda B. Franco of San Angelo, passed away April 9, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Public viewing will be Monday, April 13, 2026 from 10:00 AM- 8:00 PM at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2815 Christoval Rd, with Bishop Luis Salazar, officiating. Burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Brenda was born October 8, 1975 in San Angelo to Manuel Barquera, Sr. and Dolores Macias Barquera. She attended Santa Rita Elementary, Glenn Jr. High and graduated from Central High School in 1993. She later met the love of her life, Martin Franco and they married February 14, 2004. Brenda loved to travel and was an avid member of her church. She had a special gift that not only included arts and crafts but also baking, her baked goods were like none other and many would say were the best. Brenda not only had a huge love for her husband but also for her fur babies, Chili and Jr.
She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Randy Alarcon.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Martin Franco; her parents, Manuel Sr. and Dolores Barquera; two sisters, Mayra Barquera Alarcon and Jesusita Zamarron and husband Thomas; two brothers, Manuel Barquera, Jr. and Nefi Barquera, Sr.; nine nieces and nephews, Adrian, Kaylee, Manny, Manuel III, Andrew, Analeah, Jacob, Nefi, Jr. and Emeri.
