Lee Ann Cauley, 48, of San Angelo, TX, devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, loyal sister, proud aunt, and true friend passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2026 and joined her little brother in heaven. Lee Ann was born in San Angelo, Texas on April 20, 1977. She graduated from Lake View High School in May 1995 and Angelo State University in December 2004, with a bachelor’s degree in education. She dedicated her career to helping students discover their strengths and navigate their futures. She began teaching in San Angelo ISD in 2005, where she shaped young lives with patience and heart until 2013. That year, she joined Veribest ISD as the dyslexia specialist and transition coordinator—a role she embraced with passion, expertise, and a genuine desire to make a difference. She was member of Immanuel Baptist Church for many years and an active Emmaus member.
Lee Ann married Jamie, the love of her life, on July 16, 2005 in Ruidoso, New Mexico and then welcomed her greatest love, Tucker, on June 14, 2008. Lee Ann never missed any of Tucker’s many activities and was excitedly looking forward to his graduation in May.
Lee Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Block, grandfather, Royce Latham, and grandparents, Reagan & Ruby Goble. She is survived by her husband, Jamie Cauley, son, Tucker Cauley, parents, Barbara & Carl Block and Ralph & Diane Goble, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Lehmen & Roxie Cauley, sisters Kristy (Joey) Huffman and Brandi Goble, brother-in-law Cody (Donna) Cauley, nieces, Hannah & Rylee Wilde, nephews, Cooper & Carson Cauley, grandmothers, Margaret Latham & Ann Block, furbaby, Maggie, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Celebration of Lee Ann’s life will be held on Monday, March 16 at 1:00 at Immanuel Baptist Church with burial immediately following in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation and lunch will be 11:00-12:30, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lee Ann Cauley Scholarship Fund (Veribest ISD, PO Box 490, Veribest, TX 76886). Pallbearers will be Dusty Crooks, Lane Hughes, Byron Heiser, Brandon Heiser, Brantley Heiser, and Chad Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Williams, Jake Hamilton, Ladd Hughes, Justin Kinney, Trint Palmer, Bo Briley, Tom Briley, and Joey Huffman.
Her sudden departure leaves an ache that words cannot fully capture. Yet her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the impact she made on her family, friends, students, and community of Veribest.
