Luis Aguirre (Coy) of San Angelo, TX, passed away on November 29th, 2025, at the age of 73. He was born on June 16, 1952, in San Angelo to Vicente G. Aguirre and Sofia Sarzoba (Aguirre). he is proceeded in death by her younger sister, Marina Aguirre Garcia on September 18, 2025.
He joined the Navy in 1973 and was a part of squadron 174. He was assigned as an aircraft mechanics and left with honorable conditions. He received a National Defense Service medal.
Luis leaves a son, Coy Adam Aguirre: daughter, Tiana Aguirre Caddell (mother LaVonda) husband and family daughter, Marlee Mae Aguirre; sister Pat Aguirre Becknell, husband Alan Becknell and family brother, Tammy Vicente Aguirre and wife Gerry Aguirre and family; sister Betsy Aguirre Leyva; husband Juan Leyva and family. Favorite nephew Greg Leyva.
Mr. Aguirre had many hobbies, art, drawing, painting, fishing, doing word puzzles - especially his newspaper puzzles every day! He loved playing bingo. He had a passion for football and softball. He worked with leather as well. Once he saw something he liked, he would study is and off he went!
Mr. Aguirre worked different jobs in his lifetime. He started out with his father learning to be an exterminator, seismography in the oil fields. He was just better at retirement. His love for putting together a quick last-minute football or baseball game before the streetlight came on. He played for Lake View (guard). He was proud of his nephew's son playing also for Lake View "Nic Leyva' watched him on videos.
Luis lived out his life his way, a 'loner' but full of life!
