Albert Fuentes Blanco Sr, age 85, passed away surrounded by his precious family on November 16th, 2025. Albert was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Felix and Juana Blanco. Albert was part of Reece Albert Inc. family for 46 years, acting as the company’s Service Manager oversizing the servicing of its fleet of vehicles & equipment. He retired in 2015, leaving an indelible impression on those men and women who worked with him in the service field or the office staff.
Albert enjoyed spending time with family & watching his grandkids in sports and the Tex-Anns. He enjoyed traveling & gambling and especially being involved at St. Margaret Catholic Church & Knights of Columbus 17204.
Albert is proceeded in death by Angelita Blanco the mother of his children, parents Felix & Juana Blanco, sisters Concepcion Castillion, Juana Del Toro, Jesusa Longoria, Brothers, Guadelupe, Felix, and Daniel Blanco and grandson Anacleto Cortez III & stepsons Marcus & Ben.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Lugo Blanco and his children, Bertha Garcia, Albert Blanco Jr, Jesse Blanco (Margaret), Belinda Cortez (Victor), Robert Blanco (Maria), Ernest Blanco (Melissa), San Juanita Reyes (Johnny), Paul Blanco (Lisa). 20 grandkids, 30 great grandkids, and 4 great great grandkids. Sisters, Maria Alvarez (Max), Santos Solis (Tony), Josefina Moreno. He will forever love his working sons Lon Ross & Todd Albert.
Pallbearers will be Ernest, Robert & Paul, Daniel Blanco & Ruben Longoria, Gavino Del Toro, Lon Albert & Philip Hernandez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Albert Blanco Jr, Jesse Blanco, Johnny Castillion & Michael Castillo.
The Blanco family will forever be grateful for your prayers during our dads illness. Special thanks to Fresenius Kidney Care, Inhabit home health & Angels Care Hospice.
Our Welo’s favorite saying as each on of us as we left his home was “Buckle Up” and now we are telling him “Buckle Up” and enjoy your peaceful trip with Jesus.
A visitation will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home, located at 435 West Beauregard, San Angelo, TX, 76903, on November 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Following the visitation, a rosary will take place at the same location from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for November 21, 2025, at St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 2619 Era St, San Angelo, TX, 76905, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The committal service will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park, 3504 Arden Rd, San Angelo, TX, 76901, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
