Marsha Wilson Yoes, age 77, of San Angelo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born on December 14, 1947, in San Angelo, Texas, to Eldon and Daisy Wilson.
Marsha was a proud graduate of Central High School and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Education and Art from Sul Ross State University. She dedicated her career to teaching, serving as a special education teacher with Valentine Independent School District, where she touched the lives of many students with her compassion and commitment.
In June of 1993, Marsha married Harold Wayne Yoes. They shared 14 wonderful years together until his passing in 2007.
A gifted and passionate artist, Marsha will be remembered for her deep love of the arts and her remarkable talent, which she generously shared with those around her.
Marsha is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Eldon and Daisy Wilson, and her husband, Harold Wayne Yoes.
She is survived by her brother, Eldon Steven Wilson and wife Robin; her daughter, Brett Stringer and husband Lawrence; granddaughters, Tiffany Sublett and Courtney Sublett; step-grandsons, Triston Stringer and Logan Stringer; and great-grandsons, Kohen Brandt, Waylon Sublett, Dawson Ward, and Carter Sublett. Her legacy lives on in each of them.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Belvedere Memorial Park in San Angelo.
