Victoria Rodriguez, age 72, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born on July 24, 1953, in Hondo, Texas, to Eudelia Cortinaz.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Victoria spent many wonderful years in Lorenzo, Texas, before making San Angelo her home in 2013. On January 29, 1974, she married the love of her life, Aurelio Rodriguez, and together they built a beautiful life over 53 years together.
Victoria dedicated over two decades of service to Covenant Health Systems, where she worked for 26 years before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed trips to the casino, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Eudelia Cortinaz; her sister, Dolly; and her son-in-law, Byron Sistos.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Aurelio Rodriguez; her children: Neil Rodriguez and wife Crystal, Priscilla Rodriguez, and April Sistos; her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life. She is also survived by her siblings: Becky, Linda, Dilly, Tammy, Amy, Eva, Tab, Rudy, and Chris.
A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be: Zavier Rodriguez, Thomas Rodriguez, Nicholas Rodriguez, Giovanni Sistos, Noah Rodriguez, and Ashton Sistos.
