Austin Sanchez, 30, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He would have celebrated his 31st birthday on September 30.
Born on September 30, 1994, in Abilene, Texas, Austin never met a stranger. People were instantly comfortable around him, and although he was the youngest of four brothers, he carried a heart larger than them all. He loved his family more than anything and could always be counted on if you needed help.
Austin was a devoted husband to Victoria Alvarado and a loving father to his son, Noah. He never missed one of Noah’s baseball games if he could help it, and he was his biggest fan. He also cherished the lifelong friendships he built with his best friends Jake Williamson, Gage Davis, Camden Zeiters, and Anthony “Budda” McLendon. Their special bond made them family, and those memories will continue to carry them all.
He worked hard to support his family. Everything he did, he did for them. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for the people in his life will never be forgotten.
Austin is survived by his wife, Victoria Alvarado; his son, Noah; his mother, Theresa Elrod and stepfather Bobby; his father, Ray Sanchez; his brother, Jeremy Sanchez, and his wife, Kelly; his stepbrothers, Cole Elrod, Tyler Elrod and his wife Shelly; his grandmother, Revonda Smith; his uncles, Michael Smith, his wife Christie, and Rene Box, his wife Donna, his uncle Abe Sotelo; his mother- and father-in-law, Cindy and Gabriel Alvarado; his sisters- and brother-in-law, Katherine Alvarado, Samantha Alvarado, and Cameron Carson; and his nieces and nephews, Urijah Gonzalez, Mikayla Gonzalez, Dario Duran, Preston Sanchez, Parker Sanchez, and Alexander Elrod. He is also remembered by many extended family members and countless friends.
