Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, Mary Magdalene Lohse of San Angelo, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was 92.
Mary was born March 14, 1933 in Texon, Texas to William and Lidda Everhart. She married Willie Joe Lohse on December 29, 1958. Mary spent most of her life in Texas, but also had lived in Oregon, California, and Tennessee, only to return to her hometown of San Angelo to be near her siblings. She lived at Christian Village in San Angelo for over 20 years. Mary was a hard worker her whole life and had many jobs. When she lived in Houston, Texas she worked for Daniel Industries Inc. for over 20 years. Mary enjoyed visiting with family and friends, reading books, watching Bible teachers and Hallmark movies, working on crossword puzzles, and listening to Gospel music.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Willie Joe Lohse, her parents William and Lidda Everhart, her sisters Rosalie Eaton and Marjorie Jackson, her brothers John Daniel (J.D.) Everhart, William David Everhart and Clifford Everhart, and her children Lyndia Goodnight and Willie Joe Lohse, Jr.
Mary is survived by her son Jerry Lohse and daughter Brenda Shriver, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family thanks her nephew Bill Jackson for taking excellent care of Mary in her last few years.
Mary will be remembered at a private family memorial service.
