Linda Leath Chaney, 78, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, in San Angelo.
Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. This will be a time to say goodbye and a time to honor Linda and say "Thank you" for being a part of our lives. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Her family's tribute:
Linda represented the best of us. She, like others before her, was destined to walk the proverbial highway of diamonds. It was her desire to be a purveyor of truth, knowledge, integrity, and most importantly, the mysteries of the written word!
Linda was a good person who quietly worked for years on the front line doing good deeds, especially for the children, hoping to make a difference in their lives. She was always trying to help others achieve a bit of sanity in a sometimes chaotic and cruel world.
So thank you, Linda. And just maybe through the paradox of time and space, we will likely see you again.
