Jesusita Hernandez Torres, 98, of San Angelo, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday August 3, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Jesusita was born on April 13, 1927 in Eden, Texas to Pancho and Petra Hernandez. She married Erasmo Torres and the two remained together for 50 years until his passing.
Jesusita was preceded in passing by her parents, Pancho and Petra Hernandez; loving husband, Erasmo; brothers, Pancho Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, and Juan Hernandez; sister, Michaela Gonzales; daughters, Crusita Torres, Margarita Torres, and Marie Chapy; son-in-law, George Rios; and one granddaughter, Sandra Marie Estrada Zuniga.
Left to cherish Jesusita’s memory are her sisters, Oralia Garcia and Patsey Rangel; daughters, Josefa Torres and Guadalupe Rios. Jesusita also leaves behind 4 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Jesusita will be held from 5-6 PM followed by a Rosary at 6 PM on Thursday August 7, 2025 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday August 8, 2025 at Johnson's Funeral Home followed by interment at Live Oak Cemetery in Eden, Texas.
The Torres Family would like to thank all of the Nursing Staff and CNA’s of Arbor Terrace, as well as the Interim Hospice staff, especially Jacqueline Kelley, for their compassionate care and ongoing support.
