Mr. Velasquez was born March 12, 1984 in San Angelo. Bruno was a skilled cabinet maker-a craft that ran deep in his roots. From the time he could walk, he followed in his grandfather's footsteps in the cabinet shop, where he developed a lifelong love for working with his hands. Known as a "jack of all trades," Bruno took pride in creating special gifts for his loved ones and was always ready to lend a hand or fix what was broken.
A proud lowrider enthusiast, Bruno had a special bond with his father through their shared passion. Together, they built "Child's Play," a custom lowrider bike that Bruno treasured. He also found great joy in sports, especially during the years he spent coaching soccer and softball alongside his oldest daughter, Diamond.
Bruno is survived by his parents, Bruno and Julia Velasquez; his sister, Veronica Hernandez and husband Esrael; his daughters, Diamond (Dylan Lowman) and Esmeralda Velasquez (with her mother Maria Ramirez); his sons, Cooper McCann and Ace Michael Velasquez. He also leaves behind his uncle, Rudy Dominguez and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him deeply. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalinda Dominguez Velasquez; his maternal grandmother, Ramona Dominguez; his aunt, Josie Ramirez; and his paternal grandparents, Bruno and Gloria Velasquez.
Bruno's legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him. He will be remembered for his hard work, creativity, deep loyalty to his family, and the special way he made those around him feel seen and valued.
Special thank you to best friends Tiny Lombrana, Alex Trufant, and Marc Ybarra. Thank you to Gentiva Hospice and staff for the patience and loving care.

Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." - 2 Peter 3:9
