Jeanne C. Cleveland, 91, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, in San Angelo.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Friday, June 20 , 2025, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Ivy Cemetery in Christoval with Mills Caraway, a family friend, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home in San Angelo.
Mrs. Cleveland was born August 9, 1933 in Pampa, Texas. Jeanne married Leroy Kenneth Cleveland on July 9, 1950 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2020. Jeanne has been a resident of Christoval since 1959. She worked for the Newsfoto Yearbook for 20 years, retiring in 1984. Jeanne was a Methodist. Her hobbies include; doing the New York Times Cross Word Puzzle, playing piano, raising Irises in her garden, watching jeopardy, she loved to read, and watching the Texas Rangers Baseball team. Jeanne was the statistician for the original San Angelo Colts Baseball team. She always enjoyed being a Girl Scout Leader.
Survivors include two daughters, Terah Collins, and Laurie Meeks and husband Alan; three sons, James Cleveland and wife Mary, Ken Cleveland, and Chris Cleveland and wife Della; a son-in-law, Tommy Gibson; 15 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren. Jeanne was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Gibson; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Cleveland; a granddaughter, Kendra Cleveland; and a son-in-law, Don Collins.
