Mary Glynn Perkins Waites, 91, of San Angelo passed away June 5, 2025. Mary was born on August 6, 1933, to Wallace and Louise Perkins of Zephyr, Texas and had a sister and 2 brothers.
She married Millard Doyle Waites on March 31, 1951 in Brownwood, Texas and they had 2 daughters, Sheila and Penny.
Mary was a member of Angelo Heights United Methodist Church which later became Sierra Vista Methodist Church and was a member for over 50 years. She was very active in the church in her earlier years and loved her church and friends dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard and her daughter, Sheila. She is survived by daughter, Penny and James Hopper of Leonard; son-in-law David Yoder of Sulphur Springs; brother Darrell and Reva Perkins of Zephyr and sister-in-law Linda "Butch" Perkins of Zephyr; grandchildren Kris and Rachel Yoder of Greenville, Danny Yoder of North Carolina, Sarah and Donny Casey of Mesquite and Katie and Preston Pennington of Blue Ridge. Great grandchildren Taylor, Morgan, Kailey, Brendon Yoder and Travis and Colton Pennington; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home on Friday, June 13,2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Graveside service to be held Saturday, June 14,2025 at 11 ,am at the Zephyr Cemetery in Zephyr, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Kris Yoder, Danny Yoder, Preston Pennington, Chad Perkins, Scott Perkins and Logan Perkins.
