Frances Thomason, age 90, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025.
She was born on August 24, 1934 in Louise, TX to Jim F. and Emma Olsovsky Orsak. Frances attended San Angelo High School and later married Garner Thomason on September 19, 1954. She and her husband shared two children together and staying home raising her girls became her primary focus.
She will always be remembered for her love for her family.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Garner Thomason; parents, Jim and Emma Orsak; Brothers, Alfonse (Tex), Jerry, Julius, Alfred, Willie, and Raymond; and sister, Edith Orsak Hudec. She is survived by her children, Pam Phelps, and Terry Feathers (Dean) all of San Angelo; her most precious granddaughters, Chrissey Phelps of San Angelo, Lacey Taylor (Josh) of DuPont, WA, and Dana Fernandes (Clay) of Wink, TX; her pride and joy great-grandchildren, Cade Taylor, Layton Fernandes, Grace and Ava Phelps, Wrenley Taylor, Kolee Fernandes, and Delaney Fernandes; sister-in-laws, Elizabeth Orsak and Betty Orsak; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
An open visitation for Frances will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 West Beauregard, San Angelo, TX 76903. A graveside service will occur Friday, June 6, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, TX 76905.
