Charles Alvin Williamson, 95, of San Angelo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Charles was born September 6th, 1929 in Menard County, Texas, to the late Alvin and Naomi Williamson. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1953. After his military service he married Clara D. Pool and together they had two children, Dee Ann and Bary. He served the community for many years doing tax returns and bookkeeping for the pubic and retired after a 35 year career working at Base Supply at Goodfellow Air Force Base.
He is preceded in death by his Wife of 64 years, Clara D. Williamson, and his parent's Alvin and Naomi Williamson. Charles is survived by his daughter, Dee Ann Hill and her husband David of San Angelo; son, Bary Williamson and his wife Karen ; grandsons, Brandon Williamson and his wife Lesley, Tyler Williamson; and great grandsons, Alex Williamson and Luke Williamson all of Prospect Hill, North Carolina.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 6, 2025, at Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Benson officiating.
