Marjorie H. Elliott, 76, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025.
She was born on October 27, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to Bessie and Donald Hite. Marjorie attended Stanley High School and graduated in the class of 1965. After graduation, Marjorie began her career in the United States Navy, where she retired as a YNCS after 20 years. In 1978, Marjorie was recognized as Navy Recruiter of the Nation while stationed in Lafayette, Louisiana. After retiring, she then entered Civil Service where she worked until her final retirement 20 years later.
Marjorie met Darrell Elliott while they were stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. The pair hit it off, got married, and remained together until Marjorie's passing. She will be remembered fondly for her spark and vibrant personality.
Marjorie was preceded in passing by her parents, Bessie & Donald Hite; and sister-in-law, Carol Hite.
Left to cherish Marjorie's memory are her beloved husband, Darrell Elliott; step-children, Doris and family, and Michelle and family; and siblings, Virginia Benthusen and husband Gene, Ken Hite, and Bob Hite and wife Diane.
