Lottie was born March 31, 1939 to Juan and Guadalupe Mireles Gonzales in Menard. She graduated from Uvalde High School in 1958 and moved to San Angelo shortly after. Lottie worked at Holiday Inn as a waitress for 10 years then worked in the deli at Walmart Supercenter and retired after 25 years. She loved mariachi music and loved being at home with her great-grandchildren. Lottie would say her favorite memory was when her kids were born and the time spent being a mom. She was known for being very outspoken and speaking the truth. Lottie was a firm believer of tough love but was always willing to help anyone in need. She had a heart of gold, was very giving and would donate to charity's on a regular basis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Thomas Tomlinson; one daughter, Cynthia Yvonne Degnan; and one sister Beatrice Rodriguez.
Lottie is survived by one daughter, Michele Andrews; one son, Michael Tomlinson; five grandchildren, Christopher Ray Andrews and fiance Deanna Martinez, Hannah Gasper and husband Trevor, Krystal San Agustin and husband Alex, Zachery Degnan, and Jonathan Degnan; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sulema Shelton; one brother, Juan Gonzales, III; three nieces, Susan, Anna, and Dawn; and many cousins and friends.
At the family's request please wear red or any other bright colors to celebrate the life of our dear Lottie.
