Dorothy Dale Mackey, 97, of San Angelo, passed away on April 27th, 2025
She was borning Port Arthur, TX to Mr. And Mrs. R.D. Copeland. Dorothy attended Brownfield High School and graduated in the class of 1945. She then began her career working for Sears Roebuck and retired 25 years later. Dorothy Dale Copeland married Foy W. Mackey May 31st, 1946 and had two children.
Dorothy had a passion for helping animals and people and will always be remembered for her kindness and knowledge of reflexology and herbs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.D. and Ruth Copeland; Husband, Foy W. Mackey; and son, Mike Mackey. She is survived by her son Gregg Mackey and his wife Sandra; grandchildren, Shay Enriquez, Lisa Edwards, Brandon Mackey, and Austin Mackey; and 6 great grandchildren.
There will be no services as per her wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to amy animal rescue.
The family would also like to thank Hospice of San Angelo and Regency House for their care of Mom.
