Peggy Ann Kelly, age 81, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Peggy Ann was born on January 1, 1944 in Goose Creek, Texas to Virgil and Lessie Sanders. She attended Albany High School and graduated in the class of 1962. She worked as a substitute teacher in Regan County. Peggy married Ennis Kelly on July 29, 1968 and together they had one child. Peggy loved going on long walks and had a passion for being a substitute teacher (especially at the Jr. High and High School level).
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Lessie Sanders; Brother, JV Sanders; and sister, Lavern Lowery. She is survived by her husband, Ennis Kelly; Son, John Curtis Kelly; and brother, Wayne Sanders.
A visitation for Peggy Ann will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 West Beauregard, San Angelo, TX 76903. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, TX 76905.
