Elida Vasquez, age 92, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1933, in Del Rio, Texas, to Sylvestre Vasquez and Elvira Menchaca. Elida dedicated many years of her life as a housekeeper and caregiver, and in her free time, she enjoyed making crafts.
Elida is preceded in death by her brother, Maximo Vasquez; her sisters, Hortencia Moreno and Ernestine San Miguel; and her parents.
She is survived by her brothers, Jose Vasquez, Ray Vasquez, Samuel Vasquez, Sr.; her sister, Maria Fuentes; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Johnson's Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Eldorado Cemetery.
