Gilbert Charles Juarez, 85, was born January 27,1940 in San Angelo, TX to Francisco and Florentina Juarez.
As a kid he was always getting into something and making friends with everyone. Gilbert met the love and light of his life Maria Samaniego Juarez at the carnival and they would marry a few years later on February 13, 1960. They were blessed with 5 kids.
Although he was a hard worker making sure to provide for his family he always made sure they were given everything and made everyone feel special and loved. Gilbert showed his family to always lean on God and to live in the moment, to take the silly picture, to laugh and have fun. After retiring from the City of San Angelo Fairmount Cemetery, you could find him playing dominoes with his friends especially his wife, watching the Cowboys, and showing his grandkids how to do a backflip - all while wearing his cowboy boots.
