Judy Kay McNeill, 69, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, in San Angelo.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 PM Monday, February 10, 2025, at The 6s Cemetery, 6666, 11538 Kiesling Road, Miles Texas 76861, with Dwayne Morrison, officiating under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. McNeill was born July 27, 1955 in San Angelo. Judy married Jim McNeill on January 1, 2004 in San Angelo. Judy has been a lifelong resident of San Angelo, living in Arizona and Louisiana for a time. She was the cafeteria manager for the Miles ISD for 18 years retiring in 2013. Judy liked doing pottery, going to the beach, watching westerns including "Gun Smoke". She loved anything John Wayne. She was an avid Texas Longhorn fan. She loved her Cokes and everyone knew they would be in trouble if they took the her last one.
Survivors include her husband, Jim McNeill of the home; a daughter, Julie Gonzales of Houston; three sons, Joshua Bolin of San Angelo, Jeremy Bolin of Payson, Arizona, and Joey Turbenville and wife Melerie of Big Spring; a brother, Wesley Nessmith and wife Lea of Tuscan, Arizona; 14 grandchildren, Alexandria, Alyssa, Jessica, Joshua, Caiylie, Ariyana, Eliyana, Ernest, Laura, William, Landyn, Natalie, Dylan, and Davis. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Nessmith; a son, Gunnar McNeill; and a sister Valarie Sides.
