Michael David Sarabia, of San Angelo, departed this life on Feb 3, 2025. He was born Feb 14, 1984, in Del Rio Tx and raised by his parents, Andy Sr and Linda Sarabia, in Edmonson, TX. Throughout his early childhood he spent the majority of his time on his grandfather's farm, where he learned countless life lessons and his strong work ethic.
He attended elementary school in Plainview, TX before his family relocated to San Angelo, where he attended Lee Jr High, Central High School and graduated from Grape Creek High School in 2002. Michael excelled in multiple sports, especially football, which he played throughout his high school career. Although not "officially" appointed, he was the Team Captain and leader on and off the field. Shortly after high school, he found his calling and began his lifelong career path in the oil and gas industry, in which he contributed the next 20+ years, right up to the last day of his life. He gave his heart and soul to the oil field, and he definitely got out what was put in and provided the best life possible for his family.
Michael became a father to Esperanza in 2004, Madison in 2007, and Michael II in 2009. His children were his pride and joy and wanted nothing but the absolute best for them. He raised them to be strong, respectful hard-working individuals and loved and supported them more than he could have ever shown.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching his son's baseball games, conversing over a few cold beers and most of all, just being a Dad. He has inspired countless individuals throughout his short time with us. Mostly outspoken, sometimes out of place, but his words and actions always had nothing but the best of intentions behind them.
Loving son, brother, and father, Michael will be greatly missed by all who have had the privilege of his presence in their lives. He leaves behind his 3 children Esperanza, Madison, and Michael II all of San Angelo, his grandmothers Anna Ramon of Del Rio and Blackie Sarabia of Plainview, his mother Linda, brother Andy, sister Yvette Ayala, brother-in-law Junior, nephew Christian, nieces Liliana and Zoey all of San Angelo. He also leaves behind numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends from across the country and around the world, all of whom were near and close to him. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother Genoveva Delgado, Grandfathers Ignacio Ramon and Domitilo Sarabia, cousin Adrian Sarabia, and his Uncles Mike and Barney Sarabia.
