Epolito "Polo" Soto

Epolito "Polo" Soto, 41, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel.

Mr. Soto was born September 12, 1983 in San Angelo to Benancio and Esther Soto. Epolito was known as "Polo" in the barrio for his looks and personality. He was a lifelong San Angelo resident. He was 41 years old but acted like he was 21, doing cartwheels and breakdancing in his sisters' kitchen. Polo worked as a roofer for most of his life, where he worked with his cousins. Soto loved to drink. He loved to be with his children. He was a kindhearted person who would take his shirt off his back for you if you needed it. Soto will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his two sons, Paul Soto, and Eli Soto; his daughter, Vella Soto; the mother of his children, April; a brother, Ben Soto, III; a sister, Maria Soto; his only Tia, Suzanna Soto Frausto; as well as many other family and friends. Polo was preceded in death by his parents, Esther Ybarra Soto, and Ben Soto, Jr.
