Ruben Montoya Pinedo, 79, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025. Born on October 23, 1945, in Mexico to Gregorio and Guadalupe Pinedo, Ruben was one of thirteen siblings.
Ruben married the love of his life, Ermelinda Reyes, on July 10, 1971, in California. Together, they shared more than five decades of love. In 1980, they moved to San Angelo, Texas, where they established their family home.
Ruben spent much of his working life in the construction industry. Beyond his profession, he had a passion for Harley motorcycles and was known for his adventurous spirit. However, it was his love for his family, especially his grandchildren, Reagan and Jessie Noriega, that brought him the greatest joy.
Ruben is survived by his wife, Ermelinda; grandchildren, Reagan and Jessie; and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Yvonnette Noriega.
In honor of Ruben’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
