Sandra Lopez Crockett “Ma’ams” died at the age of 64. Sandy was a resident of San Angelo, TX. She ended her battle with cancer on January 22, 2025. She was born April 11, 1960, in San Angelo to Conrad and Midian Lopez.
She grew up in San Angelo and often told stories of growing up on the lake with her family. Sandy graduated from Central High School in 1979. Sandy worked at WTMA for 10 years and then moved to Community and Shannon for another 12 years. Sandy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The passion she had for her friends and family was always apparent. She loved to spend time outside. She could be found working with her plants or sitting around a fire. Sandy was known throughout the county for her baking abilities. Cookies, icing, cakes and cinnamon rolls are just a few of many goodies she would bring to any gathering.
Sandy is survived by her children; son, Dalton and wife Janie Molotsky and daughter, Danielle Molotsky, grandchildren, Stephen Whiteker, Kimberlyn Whiteker and Collyn Jo Davis. She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia Cox and Conrad (Trish) Lopez and many other nephews and nieces. She is leaving behind her beloved dog Tucker.
She is preceded in death by her parents Conrad and Midian Lopez, brother-in-law David Cox.
A celebration in memory of Sandy will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 13190 US Hwy 67 S. Tankersly, TX. (Barn of Kim and Joe Collins)
