Carlos “Chale, Camaron, Cammie” David Salinas, 68, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Born in Eagle Pass, Texas, to Teresa Mendoza Salinas and Salvador Salinas. Carlos was a proud graduate of Eagle Pass High School - class of 1974. He honorably served his country in the United States Army before beginning a career as a sterilization technician at Ethicon.
In 1989, Carlos married Esmeralda Garcia Salinas, and together they shared 35 wonderful years and raised three children. Carlos had a passion for golf, poker, and baseball, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.
Carlos is survived by his beloved wife, Esmeralda, and their children: Karlos Salinas, Joey Molina, and Johnny Molina. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren: Karlos D. Salinas Jr., Dayzee Penelope Salinas, Destiny Yvonne Molina, Jacobo Ynojosa, and Josiah Molina. His siblings: Rene Salinas, Oscar Salinas, Julio Salinas, and Sandra Calderón. Along with his nieces and nephews that he loved immensely.
A memorial service to honor Carlos will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 24, 2025, in the chapel at Johnson's Funeral Home.
