Our beautiful and beloved Mother/Grandmother/Great Grandmother, went to the Lord, surrounded by her family, in her home, and of natural causes on December 23, 2024.
She was a devoted mother who was very proud of her children and their accomplishments: Late Domingo Jr (Texas Instruments University, Dallas, TX), Robert (Texas A&M), Oscar (Texas A&M), Mary (Shannon Hospital) and Gloria (Gavilan College).
Maria and the late Domingo were married for 40 years.
Maria was a talented seamstress who was devoted to her job at Thorpe’s Laundry in Sonora, TX for 56 years.
Her children are grateful to the Lord that she lived with us for 105 years and now she rests in peace.
Surviving children are Robert I. Gutierrez from Houston Tx, Oscar R. Gutierrez from Houston Tx, Mary Maes of Sante Fe, NM and Gloria Badillo of Sonora, TX. She was blessed with more than 20 grandchildren, throughout the US.
Services will be held on Monday, December 30th at 11:00am at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Sonora.
