Geraldine Haile, the daughter of Percy and Blanche Weddle, was born on March 25, 1932 in Crane, Texas. She passed away in Fredericksburg, Tx on December 5, 2024 of natural causes. Born and raised in West Texas, she was the definition of a west Texas country girl. She was tough and did not put up with any nonsense. She cherished her role as a wife, Mom, and Grandmother and there was nothing more important to her than family.
She married H.S. Haile in San Angelo, TX in 1959 and was a devoted housewife and mother.
Geraldine found her gift as an incredibly talented artist. She painted in oils, acrylics, and watercolors and displayed majority of her work in her home.
Those who knew Geraldine will remember her kind and gentle spirit, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering dedication to her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, H.S Haile, her parents, Percy and Blanche Weddle, her son, Mark Haile, and her siblings, Christine Dwyer, Melvin Weddle, and Marie Dwyer. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Sheila Hull, and her son in law Billy Hull of Fredericksburg, Tx.
Geraldine is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Jessica and Tera Haile of Austin, Texas, Derek Hull of Fredericksburg, Tx, Amber Hull of San Angelo, Tx, and Ashley Haile of Ft. Worth, Tx. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren, Laikyn, Blaikley, Isabella, Ian, Cathryn and Tyson.
