She attended high school in Smackover.
Beverly married the love of her life, Leslie Lee Williams on April 11, 1941 in the First Baptist Church in Eldorado Arkansas. After Pearl Harbor December 7th, 1941 Lee joined the army and she moved to Dallas, Texas to attend Baylor School of Nursing. He went to fight for freedom and she went to learn how to help people.
After she graduated from nurses training in 1945 she moved back to Smackover to start her life caring for others and to wait for Lee to come back from the war. They lived in Smackover until their son, Rick was born on March 27, 1946. Lee got his prior job back with Magnolia Oil Co. and they were transferred to County Line, Oklahoma. They were transferred with Magnolia to Edna, Texas where she was a school nurse in Vanderbuilt, Texas. In 1955 they were transferred to Midland, Texas where she became school nurse for Midland Independent School District until she retired with 36 years of nursing in 1977.
Lee retired in 1977 and they moved to Center Point, Texas. In 1978 the Guadalupe River flooded and tragically took Lee’s mother’s life. They joined and became active in the First Baptist Church of San Angelo. Together they shared 48 loving years together before Lee’s passed away in 1989.
