Rudolfo "Rudy" Ramos Jr., 41, passed away on his birthday, October 31, 2024, in Grape Creek.
Memorial Service will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Freedom Fellowship Church with Pastor Harold Watkins, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mr. Ramos was born on October 31, 1983 in San Angelo. Rudy was known for his radiant smile and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. Rudy attended Day Elementary and graduated from Angelo Christian School before furthering his education at Life Christian University. He had a varied career, managing at McDonald's from 2005 to 2008, working as a derrickhand/motorman at Patterson Oilfield from 2009 to 2014, and later serving as a plant operator at Reese Albert until his passing in 2024.
Rudy was deeply committed to his Christian faith, actively participating in the Christian Faith Center and Freedom Fellowship. His faith was evident in his daily life, often being the voice of reason and bringing spiritual perspective to any situation. An avid sports enthusiast, Rudy enjoyed track and field, cross country, and football. He managed a football team and cherished hanging out with his primos and supporting the Cowboys.
Rudy is survived by his grandmothers, Orelia Saldivar and Lucas Milan; parents, Sylvia Irene Saldivar and Aaron Milan; sisters, Anna Behlar, Erin Smith, Rachel Milan, Jessica Milan, and Leslie Milan; and his children, Miranda Ramos, Adriyan Santiago Ramos, Mariah Moreno, Marcus Moreno, and Ashley Moreno; 3 aunts, 2 uncles and 20 immediate primos. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Ubaldo Saldivar and Eluterio Milan, and aunts Esmeralda Saldana and Selma Saldivar.
Rudy's presence will be profoundly missed by his extensive family, numerous friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of kindness, patience, and community spirit will live on in the hearts of many.
