Dollie Jo Adams, of San Angelo, passed away October 23, 2024 at the age of 80. She was born on February 17, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas to parents William F Atnipp and Hazel Atnipp.
Dollie grew up in San Angelo with her siblings, Margie and Tommy Jack. She graduated from Central High School, where her son would also eventually graduate. She lived her life in San Angelo where she enjoyed being close to family and friends and spent her time playing cards, attending events at Rio Concho Manor, drinking coffee with friends, and playing fetch with her favorite Grand-dog, Sadie.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Matthew Adams of Big Lake, Tx, as well as grandchildren, Kalie Adams of Dallas, Tx and Timothy Zachary Adams of Lubbock, Tx who knew her as “Grammie”. She is also survived by her sister, Margie Bryan and husband, Thomas of Tuscola, Tx, as well as her nephews: Thomas H. Bryan II and wife Segelle of Cross Plains, TX and Justin
B. Bryan of Tuscola, Tx and great-niece and nephews: Mackenzie, Wyatt and Samuel Bryan of Tuscola, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as brother, Thomas Jack Atnipp.
A private service for family and friends was held and officiated by Charles Smith. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be provided to Bussinessmen and Women’s Bible Class Charles and Shirley Smith 401 Rio Concho Dr. #39 San Angelo Tx. 76903
