It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Bisente "Pac-man" Gaitan, Jr. He passed on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the age of 57 in Houston, at MD Anderson Center, surrounded by his wife and family.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM- 8:00 PM with the Rosary at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Deacon Claudio Sanchez, officiating. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Church of Pentecost, 2028 Edmond Blvd., San Angelo, Texas 76901. Burial to follow at Sterling City Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Bisente was born October 29, 1966 in Sterling City to Bisente and Alicia Gaitan.
Bisente was a dedicated and hard worker, he worked in construction, painting, and remodeling homes. He attended schools in San Angelo, Texas. Bisente loved lowriders and Cortez shoes and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved traveling and taking family vacations, he especially loved the lazy river at Six Flags and Sea World. Bisente loved having family cook-outs, shopping, going to flea markets and collecting hot wheel cars. Bisente is well known for his jokes and telling you a story that would turn into 3 different stories all at once. He was also known for his big heart and kindness, he would do anything for anyone, he would go out of his way for family and especially his children.
Bisente is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Juanita Pineda Gaitan; his parents; siblings, Ruben Gaitan, Richard Gaitan, Abel Gaitan, Cynthia Molina, Eva Gaitan; and one grandson Baby Jesse Brown.
Bisente is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Pearl Gaitan; his daughters, Emerald Gaitan Brown and husband Jesse, Ruby Gaitan and fiancé Xavier, and Alicia Gaitan all of San Angelo, Crystal Gaitan and Amanda Gaitan of Dallas; sons, Ben Gaitan and Eric Gaitan of Dallas; bonus sons that he raised and loved as his own, Jeremiah Montano and wife Julisalyn, Kevin Montano, Ayden Montano, Braden Montano and Caden Montano all of San Angelo; sisters, Debbie Gaitan and Gloria Valdez and husband Angel both of San Angelo; grandchildren, Jasmine, Jessiah and Jenesis Brown, Jonathan and Jonah Guevara, Jocelyn and Jaylynn Camacho; Xiolani Montano all of San Angelo, Forever Gaitan and several more grandchildren in Dallas; Aunt Esther and husband Joe Holguin of San Angelo; uncles, Joe Gaitan, Jr. of Lubbock and Gilbert Gaitan of San Angelo; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and his fur baby Boy Gaitan whom he cared for and loved dearly.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Brown, Jeremiah Montano, Kevin Montano, Ayden Montano, Braden Montano, and Caden Montano.
The family asks in honor of Bisente please wear Dallas Cowboys or Cholo attire on Friday.
