Roger was born December 24, 1942, in Gonzales, Texas to Robert and Addie Mae Williams Brown. Roger began working hard at a very young age to help the family and remained a hard-working man throughout his lifetime. Roger was a powerful man of faith. He had a tremendous passion for the Lord. He loved being a prayer warrior and sharing the power of prayer with everyone. After attending Freewill First Missionary Baptist Church for over 10 years, he became a member of Bible Way Ministries where he became the first Deacon of the church and remained a faithful member for over 27 years. Roger was a funny, caring and compassionate man. He had great wisdom about life and loved using his experiences to teach others. Roger was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who devoted his life to the Lord and his family.
