Edna “Nadine” Glover, of San Angelo, went to meet her savior on September 8, 2024, at the age of 84.
Nadine was born on November 12, 1939, in San Angelo, TX, to parents William and Jessie (Kelley) Harris. She had one sister, Mary (Harris) Davis. San Angelo was her place of residence for most of her life. On April 26,1961 she married the love of her life, Garlan “Keith” Glover. She attended San Angelo College where she received an Associates Degree of Arts. Nadine retired from SAISD after working for 25 years in the cafeteria at McGill Elementary and Glenn Middle School. She always had a warm smile for the children that attended these schools and made lifelong friends there. Nadine had a beautiful alto voice and sang with a group in college. She had a very giving spirit and volunteered regularly at Shannon Hospital and Rust Street Ministries.
Nadine is survived by two sons, Chris Glover and wife, Rhonda of San Angelo and Kevin Glover and wife, Kamphan of Bangkok, Thailand: her three grandchildren Natalie Glover Sosa and husband, Nolan, Garret Glover, and James Glover.
She is predeceased by her husband Keith Glover, son Kerry Glover, and sister Mary Davis.
A memorial will be held for Nadine at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 17 at Johnson Street Church of Christ. Scott Allen will officiate.
