Eva was born in Lovington, New Mexico on April 18, 1943 to Amalio and Francisca Ocon Sanchez. She was the youngest of 9 children. Early in life Eva lived in Odessa, Big Lake and then Iraan, where she ran a package store for many years as she raised her children. Eva then moved to Roswell, New Mexico where she spent the next 30 years of her life before settling in San Angelo, Texas. Eva Loved to cook, read, do puzzles, and watch old westerns. Most importantly, she was a great mother who loved her boys but having boys made her quickly believe in tough love. One of the greatest joys of her life was her granddaughter, Madison; she definitely made Eva forget what tough love was. She will be loved and missed by many people.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Aguero and wife Jackie, Steven Aguero, and Rodney Aguero; three sisters, Erma Maldonado, Rosemary Springer, and Molly Ruiz; nine grandchildren, Bobby Lee Jr., Audrey, Tina, Bobby, Tommy, Ezra, Landan, Landry and Madison; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bobby Lee Aguero; four sisters, Frances Espinoza, Jane Sanchez, Patsy Sanchez, Maxine Sosa; one brother, Martin Sanchez; one grandson, Rory Aguero; and one great grandson Isaiah Aguero.
The family would like to thank Shannon Hospital 5th and 6th floor staff, including Dr. Miller, Dr. Bowlin, Dr. Ghaby, Hospice of San Angelo and Monica Gutierrez for the love and care provided to our mother.
