Joseph "Joe" Fearn

Joseph Fearn of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. 

Joseph was born on June 14, 1945 in Huntsville, Alabama to Willie Ed Fearn and Mary Ella Hardin. 

Joseph attended Councill Training School and graduated in the class of 1963. He later went on to join the United States Air Force in December of 1964. Joseph retired from active duty at the rank of MSGT in 1988. He continued working as Civil Service for the Department of the Air Force at Goodfellow AFB with the 17th Logistics Readiness Squadron until his retirement in 2007. 

Joseph married Jennievia on October 24, 1974 and the couple welcomed four children.

Joseph was preceded in passing by his parents, Mary Ella and Willie E. Fearn; wife, Jennievia P. Fearn; brother, Willie L. Fearn; brother, Tom Fearn; sister, Geneva Rogers; and sister, Azilee Leslie. 

Left to cherish Joseph's memory are his children, Jonathan Fearn, Jason Fearn, Joseph Alan Fearn, and Jasmine Fearn; and grandchild, Jazlyn Fearn. Also left to cherish his memory are his brother, Leamon Fearn and wife Kathleen; brother, Daniel Fearn and wife Dolly; brother, Theodore Fearn; and sister, Maurine Fearn. 

A funeral service for Joseph will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
