She was born on July 1, 1925 in El Paso, Texas to Rita and Issac Davila. She married Alfonso Robles and had 9 children.
Margarita lived a long, full, and rich life. She will be remembered for many special reasons. Her husband became disabled at a young age, which led Margarita to leave her comfort zone of wife and mother to work outside the home to support her family. She worked in the healthcare field and was an OB Tech for many years. Hard work did not intimidate her. In her later years, she became a world traveler, exploring Asia and Europe with her family. Some of the highlights of her travels were Greece, Japan, and several other locations. Margarita was present in Berlin, Germany when the Berlin Wall was torn down.
Of all of Margarita's life experiences, she enjoyed her role of Mom and Grandma more than anything else in the world. She treasured memorable times with her family. The most recent celebration was her 99th birthday with most of her family present to honor her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Robles; her parents, Rita Tarango and Issac Davila; her daughters, Hilda Teresa and Irene; and her granddaughter, Margarita R. Sevier.
Left to cherish Margarita's memory are her children, Graciela Sevier, Anita Robles, David Robles and wife Symona, Ofelia Robles, Alfredo Robles and wife Linda, Benjamin Robles and wife Myra, and Rosa Luna and husband Jose. Also left to cherish Margarita's memory are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Robles Family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to High Plains Hospice for the compassion and care they shared with Margarita during her hospice journey.
A Celebration of Margarita's life will be held at a later date in El Paso, Texas.
